Experience
Carole Empey’s litigation practice includes denial of benefit litigation, medical product liability litigation, general liability, construction litigation, medical malpractice claims, corporate healthcare, insurance coverage disputes, managed care litigation and physician staff privilege claims. Ms. Empey has extensive experience in cross-examination and legal challenges to Plaintiff’s expert witnesses. She has represented her clients in trial and arbitration. In addition to her federal and state litigation practice, Ms. Empey is a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and serves as a case evaluator in Washtenaw County. She is a member of the Health Law Section of the Michigan State Bar Association and an active member of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management and American Health Lawyers Association.Education
