Experience
Tom Foley is a founding member of Foley, Baron & Metzger, PLLC-, where he directs the Products Liability and Complex Litigation Group. Over the last 20 years, he has served as national trial counsel in various complex liability litigations in numerous jurisdictions across the country including California, Colorado, Oregon, Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and throughout Michigan. He was the lead trial lawyer in the largest consolidated mass tort trial to result in a defense verdict. In 2004, Mr. Foley was selected among other national defense trial lawyers to serve as faculty for the prestigious International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy held at Stanford University Law School. Mr. Foley and the attorneys in his group have defended class actions, antitrust, aviation, complex commercial and other high-stakes litigation. He carries Martindale-Hubbell's "A-V" rating and is an active member of the International Association of Defense Counsel [IADC]. He is also a member of the M-LAW (Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch) Advisory Board where he is active in pro-business tort reform activities.Education
