Experience

Lisa Geherin concentrates her practice in the representation of health care organizations and physicians mainly in the area of medical malpractice. She is also experienced on all aspects of insurance defense with an emphasis in personal injury, premises liability, Lemon Law litigation and construction litigation. Ms. Geherin has considerable experience in complex tort litigation involving numerous parties and multiple claims. She is a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and the Michigan and California Bar Associations.

Professional Background and Licensure

Ms. Geherin was a licensed medical social worker for eight years prior to attending law school. She worked for an HMO in Las Vegas practicing discharge planning before obtaining a position with the Clark County Public Guardian's Office as a medical case manager. Ms. Geherin is admitted to the Michigan and California State Bars and California Southern District Federal Bar.
